GoPro for Tax and Revenue

GoPro is one of the key ISV SOA solutions for the IBM Government Industry Framework in the Tax and Revenue sector. In an ongoing effort to ensure best practices, GoPro has recently completed a Case Study about the Internal Revenue Directorate of Iceland, examining how GoPro has helped to manage the vital business of Tax and Revenue for over a decade.

The Case Study showed that the greatest value lay in the information management capabilities provided by GoPro, as IRD agents must be able to locate information quickly and in context, in order to work efficiently and in compliance with information disclosure regulations and legal deadlines. The IRD also incorporated GoPro into their workflow, using the solution to automate and streamline work processes, and collaborate more effectively. GoPro has been integrated with the National Registry to provide direct access to citizen''s contact information, and is used to archive information once it reaches the threshold for long-term archiving.
