Norðurál upgrades to GoPro Professional Plus and MS SharePoint

Nordural have been GoPro users for many years and have decided to upgrade to GoPro Professional Plus with MS SharePoint. This is a new and exciting solution that makes use of the best features of GoPro integrated with MS SharePoint 2010 technology. The aim is to complete the upgrade in the first quarter of 2011.

The Nordural aluminum plant at Grundartangi is owned by Century Aluminum which has headquarters in Monterey, California in the United States. Nordural began operations in 1998 and is one of the largest workplaces in western Iceland, with approximately 500 employees. The company has created a secure source of employment and contributed to the development of surrounding towns.
